Decorating for Christmas

We spent the entire weekend decorating for Christmas. This is our first year in our house so it was so fun! We finally have room to put up our giant tree!

The boys were having fun playing with all the lights while we were putting getting everything out.

We were able to get some lights this year so we spent all of Saturday putting up the lights.

Even though it's not a great pictures, here is what our house looks like with the lights on :)
(Man it takes a lot of work to get those lights up there!)

I saw this cute idea on Pinterest last year and was so excited to do it! Blake really really loves snowmen right now so he was the most exited about it. I think it's so cute!

Another idea I saw on Pinterest was to make these cute snowflakes out of popsicle sticks. I glued them together and Dad and Nathan helped paint them.

Wes hung them up but then Nathan really wanted to be just like his dad and get on the ladder

Standing on the ladder made this guy so happy.

So now our house is pretty much all decorated for Christmas! I love it.

Thanksgiving

We went to Salt Lake this year for Thanksgiving to spend it with family. We had so much fun being with everyone! Of course, the boys loved the airplane ride. That is always a highlight of any trip we take.
Here we are waiting at the St George airport

Every time we get on the plane, the boys have to take out the safety cards and go over them. They like all the pictures of the airplanes.

Nathan had an empty seat by him so he buckled in his dog.

The boys were so excited to decorate gingerbread men that Nana got for them.

They were so excited to eat them but were a little disappointed when they were too hard. I promised them that we would make some of our own, little gingerbread men at home that they can decorate and eat.
