4th of July

We went to see the fireworks in the Sun Bowl on the 4th of July. SkyWest sponsored it so they had a section reserved just for employees. Even though our car said 109 when we got there, we still went and had fun!
You can see from our bright red faces in some of the pictures that we were HOT!

Alabama

Our last trip of our two and a half week vacationing was to Madison Alabama to visit my cousin Emilee and her twin girls. We had so much fun, I did not want to leave to come home. Emilee and I have always been close since we were little girls. We don't seem much of each other now since she lives in Alabama so it was a lot of fun to go spend time with her!

One day we went to a huge water park. We spent about 5 hours there!

On our way home from the water park we stopped to get some ice cream cones. They made more of a mess than anything but it made for some good pictures :)

We went to the U.S. Space and Rocket center to see the rockets. We didn't actually go inside (maybe next time) but we got to walk around and see some of the rockets outside.

Some water fun in the yard. That is the only pic I got of that.

And then flying home. We had to go through a few different airports but we finally made it. Flying standby gets a little stressful at times but I am so grateful that we get to fly and go do all these fun things!

Salt Lake

In between all our travels we hung out in Salt Lake with my family

Here we are taking a little ride in Bryce's fun car. Don't worry, we just went up and down our little street

One day Jess and the boys and I took Trax downtown to the Discovery Gateway. They boys LOVE the train.

That Discovery Gateway is the coolest place! My kids could play there for hours and hours! I heard they are getting a children's museum here in St. George and we are pretty excited!

We were also at my parent's house during Taylorsville Dayz. Here we are watching the parade! Good times.

San Diego

We went to visit Wes's brother, Brandon in San Diego for a weekend. We had SO MUCH FUN! We were only there for a few days but we sure did a lot! Much thanks to Brandon for taking us everywhere and feeding us and giving us a place to stay!

On the flight there, the flight attendant gave the boys some wings...here they are showing them off.

As soon as we landed we ate some lunch and headed to the SD Zoo. The weather was perfect and the boys had so much fun seeing all the cool animals.
Here they are climbing in a koala tree

The Panda bear! That was really fun to see! Panda's are my favorite since all growing up I was called "Manda Panda"

After the Zoo we went to the Corvette Diner, a cute little 50's diner. It was so fun to eat there and it was perfect for us because it was loud and they encouraged throwing your straws!
Look how cool those spiderman balloon animals are!

Playing around at dinner.

The next morning we got up and went to the Midway. The boys were sooo excited to go see an actual aircraft carrier!

Here are just a bunch of pictures of us on the Midway. We spend a few hours there

After the Midway and lunch we headed to the beach! The boys just played and played and had so much fun with Uncle Brandon

While they played, I got to relax on the beach and take a little nap...and got a little sunburn :)

The car ride home from the beach...some very tired boys!

Waiting at the airport to fly back home. We can't wait to go visit again!
