Games and Laughter
I had the best weekend ever! Aubrie, Andrew and Danika came to visit us for a few days (Wes' sister, her husband and their daughter) I had great ambitions to take lots of pictures but I didn't end up taking any. We didn't do anything spectacular, mostly we just played games and laughed. They bought this new game called "Wits and Wagers" and we had a blast playing it for hours and hours! Of course, we played our usual "UNO" as well. That is one thing that Wes and I both miss so much about being in Salt Lake is hanging out with Aubrie and Andrew every weekend and playing games until all hours of the night. Usually as it gets later, we start laughing more and more. I didn't get much sleep while they were here but it was well worth it! There's nothing like good friends, especially when they are family! I am so glad they came to visit. I can't wait to do it again :)

Baby kicks
Yesterday I felt the baby kick. I have felt some movement the past few weeks but nothing like this. This was a definite kick. It was during the opening hymn of sacrament meeting yesterday. I guess he just liked the hymn. Honestly, I don't remember what hymn it was because I was so amazed at what I was feeling. He kicked several times during the hymn. I can tell that our little boy is going to be strong, and probably have long legs like his 6' 7" tall dad.

Random
Okay. I haven't written for about 2 weeks. Not because I don't want to but sometimes I just think I don't have a lot going on in my life. So today I will just write the small, random things that I have done or that have happened in the last week or so.
First the big event was my dad and brother came up last Sunday to visit and to bring me my new chest freezer! I am very excited for it. I haven't actually put anything in it yet but it is in our garage ready for food and otter pops for the summer. I feel officially like a grown up (as if being married, having a mortgage payment and being pregnant didn't already do that) because now I have a freezer in the garage and that's what grown up families do. It was fun to see Dad and Bryce as well and I am glad that they came to visit.
I have been working a lot more hours at work the last few weeks because we had an employee leave and I am the only one not in school with a flexible schedule. It's nice to have the extra money but I man I get very tired at the end of the day from standing all day long. I really like the girls I work with so it's been fun.
I had my 20 week Dr's appointment last week and so far everything seems to be going smoothly. I have been able to feel the baby move a little bit and that is so cool. I still can't believe that I have a little baby, alive and moving, inside of me. Last night I had a dream that I had the baby and we named him Drew. No, Drew is not on the list of names we are considering so I thought it was funny that I dreamed that.
And one more thing, I am still loving American Idol and was sad that Brooke was in the bottom 2! I better start voting more.
I found this blog (thanks Kati) that's kind of fun.
Random tips from Karen I added it to my list of other blogs on the side.

Harry Potter

Okay, I have never seen the Harry Potter movies, or Lord of the Rings, or Star Wars. I've just never been into those sorts of movies. Wes, on the other hand, loves them. He LOVES Harry Potter and has read all the books. So I said one day that I wouldn't mind watching the Harry Potter movies. I said that last week and last night, we just finished the last movie that has come out. I think it was called Harry Potter and something about Order of the Phoenix. Wes was so excited that I was willing to watch them that we had to go rent and borrow them right away. I have to admit that it was really fun. It was like our little date nights, sitting on the couch watching movies together and we even had treats for every movie. One night we had brownies and ice cream, other nights included popcorn, Oreo's and chips.
Even though sometimes I think it's hard to live here where I don't have any friends, I am glad that I have Wes. He is my best friend in the whole world and we have so much fun together!

Our fun day in Salt Lake
First of all, before I say anything about our fun day in Salt Lake, I just have to complain for one second to say that it is SNOWING! It's supposed to be spring. Is it too much to ask for nice weather in APRIL!?!?! Sheesh.
Anyway, so this past Thursday we got to go down to Salt Lake for the day. Wes has Thursday's and Friday's off and I just happened to get Thursday off so we had a day together. Wes had to pick up his cap and gown for graduation next month. Even though he finished school in December, he doesn't get to walk until May 2nd when the U has their graduation. While we were there we got to see my family for a few hours, Wes' mom and her new office and we had lunch with Aubrie and Andrew and Danika. Wes was really excited to see Danika because he hasn't seen her since she learned how to crawl. We had a lot of fun. We sure do miss everyone in Salt Lake. I am glad that since we had to move for Wes' job, we only moved 2 1/2 hours away. That makes it nice when we want to go down and visit. And it was nice weather when we were there, not like this SNOWING IN APRIL that we have here.
