Today was a good day. Since moving to Pocatello, I've had a hard time at church. Don't get me wrong, I really like church but Relief Society especially has been hard because I don't know anyone and making friends has never been something I have been really good at. So I just sit there and get sad that I am just sitting by myself. The Relief Society has had a few activities that I have wanted to go to but I just chickened out at the last minute. Well today, I decided to go to choir. Not that I am a wonderful singer but I thought I could at least meet someone there and I did! I talked to a few people and I had a good time. It was very nice. I met a girl named Jennifer. Now maybe next week I can meet someone else. One of these days I will get some friends in Idaho. I miss everyone in Salt Lake like crazy but I am getting used to living here.
Today after church I decided to make cinnamon rolls. I have never made them before so I hope they turn out. I am just waiting now for the dough to raise.
So, a good day. I went to choir, met Jennifer, and hopefully I will have some good cinnamon rolls to eat later on :)

You are right! Any day that can end with cinnamon rolls is a good day. :)
Amanda! Thanks for letting me post, even without a fancy blog name or anything. I'll let you know when that finally happens... Anyway, this is fun to read! I'm really glad you are doing it. I completely understand what you are saying. You did what I decided to do with my new(ish) ward and went to choir on my own too, a few months ago. I've really enjoyed it. Not like I've become great friends with anyone, but I have met some nice people by doing that. Just think-you will have friends there in Idaho in no time, I just know it! Not to mention how you mad cooking skills are going to increase in no time! See...the Lord knows what he's doing, eh? Love you! Liesl
Amanda,
Thanks again for letting Rick and I stay at your house. It was fun and we need to do it again and actually spend time with you two. I definatly know how it is moving to a new place. We only have 1 couple that we are good friends with and its been 6 months. It is hard but I keep telling myself to just be patient and that I need to try to meet people to. That is great that you went to choir. How did the cinnamon rolls turn out? I will have to get your receipe. Emilee
I am so glad that you have a blog! I love reading blogs maybe someday I will get one. Just found out that you are having a baby I am so excited for you were you prego when I saw you last? Did you lie to me? Just wondering! It is hard in a new ward be brave and go to the activities. Love ya!

Oh, by the way, I know where you are coming from - I didn't like you much when you started at the bank - and look at us now!! Ha Ha.
