Diapers

I am thinking of stocking up on some diapers while I am still working and have a paycheck.
What kind of diapers do you think are the best? Do you like one brand over another?
Let me know!

Ok, so I'm cheap. I'll get that out in the open. When they are newborns--it totally depends on the child. Some worked for one and not for the other. I always had leak throughs and blow outs with any diaper I tried. But when they get a little older I used Costco Kirkland brand and they have been great. I'm always a generic gal, but these are the best of the generics.

My son would occasionally have amazing pees that would keep the diaper dry and soak everything else. To limit those amazing pees my favorite diapers for boys are Pampers or the Target brand diapers.

Ok, I've tried almost every diaper out there - White Cloud, Huggies, Kirkland, etc. Diapers are not cheap but it's worth the price to pay for Pampers. Not only are they amazing and have NEVER leaked, they are also the softest diaper and their shape is the best fit around the bum. Seriously, I will not buy anything else besides Pampers now. They sell them in bulk at Sam's Club for a lot cheaper than Wal-mart. Call me a diaper-snob, but I really did try several brands and these are the best! (not to mention they don't have the ugly designs and pictures on them - they're just plain white except where the tape sticks on to the diaper.)

I have to say that I like Huggies the best I have not tried Pampers. So I don't know but I just buy the Huggies at Costco and usually per Diaper they are cheaper that the Kirkland Brand which is a little crazy I think. I stocked up on diapers with both of my kids and loved it. It was like the diapers were Free since all I had to do was walk down stairs and get another pack. With Jaron I had diapers until he was 8 months old. I did have to buy premiee diapers for a little while.

That was a good question! I liked reading everyone's comments on diapers. I used Huggies in the newborn size and then once my girls were a little older, I started getting the Kirkland brand from Costco. I've never had a problem and they seem less expensive than most. Good luck!

I think cloth diapers are the best. Once you buy the cloth and sew them up they are free. I bet your MOM would love to make some for you. LOL love your blog Amanda. You are the cutest pregnant neice ever.
