So here are the details explaining the last post....
First of all, I am 13 weeks pregnant, due January 19th. Wes and I have always talked about wanting our kids close so in May, we decided to start trying. It took us a little while to get pregnant with Nathan so we were thinking it would take a while with this one as well.
Towards the end of May I got really sick. I assumed that it was the flu but after a week passed I thought to myself....this flu is not going away....then I thought...this feels a lot like I did when I was pregnant with Nathan. So off to the store to buy a pregnancy test and it's history from there. I found out a few weeks before I was to run the Wasatch Back. I was soooo sick and really nervous about running. I didn't know how I would do it being as sick and tired as I had been but by some miracle, when it came time to do the race I actually felt okay (not great but okay) and was able to run. I was pretty happy with how the race turned out and so relieved when it was over. I haven't been running since :)
The morning sickness has started to go away. It's not gone completely but I'm not throwing up anymore so yea for that!
I'll be honest and say I was pretty shocked when I found out. I was so sick and so exhausted that it was hard to be excited. Also, it's only been 9 months since I was last pregnant so I remember all to well how much I didn't like it. Of course, I had him in August and being that pregnant during the summer was rough. I am looking forward to having a winter pregnancy this time. Now that the sickness is calming down and everyone knows, I am getting excited. Wes has been excited since I first showed him the positive pregnancy test.
Nathan really was such an easy baby so I am just hoping that the next one will be too!!

Congrats!
Having kids that close is crazy, but it is also great as they get older as they are the best of friends. (Our oldest are 17 months apart, because like you, we figured it'd take awhile...)
I hope you will feel better soon!
Congrats, that is a surprise but a good one! I'm sure everything will work out just fine. Good luck with the morning sickness - ew!
I can't believe you ran Ragnar while prego, esp with morning sickness! You're crazy!
Congrats! Crazy though! Sam is almost 6 months now, and I can't imagine finding out I was pregnant right now. I don't think there would be much joy involved, so I commend your positive attitude, and agree with the comment above that it will probably be great to have them closer together when they are a bit older! You will LOVE being pregnant in the winter! Sam was born Jan. 17th, and it was so nice to be big in the cold weather!
I am so excited! Congrats again, I love you all and can't wait til January.
I am so excited for you, Amanda! You and Wes and your cute kiddos. I love that these two will be close in age, I think that'll be really fun (hard work, but fun for your family)! You are such a great mom. Can't wait to meet your new little one.
Yes, good luck with the morning sickness. For real, I can't believe that you ran that race! You are amazing. :)
Congratulations guys! I'm really excited for you! Nathan is getting so big and cute. I'm sure he's going to be a great big brother.
