Seattle

Today is our anniversary so to celebrate we went to Seattle yesterday. We flew to Salt Lake Friday night and stayed with Wes's mom. Then Saturday we left the kids with her and flew to Seattle for the day. We are so grateful that she was willing to watch the kids all day so we could go on our little adventure.

We took the light rail to Pike's Market and just spent a few hours there. We walked around, took a few pictures and had lunch there. It was so much fun to just hang out and enjoy the day together without the kids.
They have the most amazing, beautiful flowers all lined up. I wanted to take some home but I wasn't sure how that would work on the plane.

We tried to take a picture ourselves in front of the big sign but eventually we just asked someone to take our picture.
It was a fun day trip and we are excited to try another place soon. (We even got to fly first class on our way back to SL)
Happy Anniversary!

Sounds like fun! I would love to be able to do that. I guess I need to get a job with the airlines. Happy anniversary!

I love Pike's Market. We went a year ago in May and they had tulips for the flowers. They were gorgeous. Glad you had a great time. Did you eat any seafood while up there? They have the best Clam chowder and fish and chips.
