Happy Birthday Nathan

It was Nathan's birthday on Wednesday. He is so old now! 4! I can't believe it. This is such a fun age, I think it's my favorite (so far from the 4 years I have to choose from!) He was so excited for his birthday and couldn't wait to open his presents and see his cake and play with all his new toys. We had some friends over for a little party (which I did not get any pictures of...dang) and we had cake and ice cream that night with our little family. Here are some pictures of the fun day.

Here is Nathan opening presents. Blake loved it and always had to jump in and help unwrap.

 A new bike! He was so excited! And so was Blake, who rides it just as much as Nathan.

 Here we are singing Happy Birthday to Nathan. He is so excited to blow out the candle. He's been talking about getting a special #4 candle for several weeks so we finally bought one about 2 weeks ago. Well of course, when it came time to use it, I couldn't find it. I felt soooo bad because he was so excited. We were able to talk him into using last years #3 candle instead and once we started singing, he was perfectly happy. (oh and I found the candle 2 days later!)

Here is the fire truck cake. 

Uncle Brandon sent him this really cool fighter pilot coat. He loves it. He says it's his pilot coat. If it ever cools down here, maybe he will be able to wear it!
