Amazing!

I went to work yesterday...my last day...and left Wes home with Nathan. While I was gone, Wes vacuumed the entire house, including the stairs that I have been putting off forever. He changed lightbulbs, CLEANED THE BATHROOMS, organized things, frosted the rest of my cookies for me that I didn't want to do and had dinner all ready when I got home. I have the best husband!!!

September

I love the month of September. It means that Fall is here and the hot summer is over. It also means that it's canning season, which is what I have been doing most of the month. I went to Salt Lake to help my sister-in-law can. She got lots and lots of fruit from her mother-in-law's yard and since I went to help her, she split the fruit with me. I had intentions to get lots of pictures but we were so busy that I didn't get very many. We ended up staying longer than planned because we had so much to do. In the end I ended up with about 100 jars of apples (mostly apples sliced but some apple sauce too) 40 jars of pears, 13 jars of peaches and 14 jars of salsa.

While we were there, Nathan had so much fun spending time with grandparents and cousins. Here he is mowing the lawn with my dad. He loved playing with everyone. With the leftover apples that I didn't can, my friend and I made yummy caramel apples.

A Picture

It has been almost a month since I have updated my blog...September has been a very busy, crazy month and I will update soon but in the mean time, here is a funny picture of Nathan that Wes took the other day.
Nathan has been getting into EVERYTHING lately. I had to work on Monday so Wes stayed home with Nathan and he took this picture for me. He left Nathan alone for a few minutes and this is what he found:

Those are tiny poppy seeds all over, in case you can't tell. I am still finding them all over my kitchen and in my rug.
