I am grateful for my family but in particular, I am grateful for my mom. She lets me call her all the time with silly questions. I call her while I am in the grocery store to ask if something is a good deal, I call her for recipes all the time and if she's at home she will stop what she's doing and look up a recipe to give me. And last week she let me come and hang out for a few days and she helped me sew all my projects I wanted to get done. (I'm sure it helped that I brought her only grandchild with me :)
Since Wes and I are staying her for Thanksgiving, I will be making our own turkey dinner and I have confidence that I can do it because I've talked to my mom in detail about how to make everything.
Even though I live a few hours away, I don't feel very far from my mom because we talk so much.
I am grateful for my mom.
