I am taking a break from folding all of my laundry (that is all over my living room) to check out blogs and write on mine.
I miss my workout buddy. Before we moved here I use to go to the gym every night with my sister-in-law. It's so much easier to work out with someone there to motivate you to go. Sometimes we would go and just talk and talk and not get much of a workout in.
I was thinking that I wanted to start going to back to the gym and go walking outside (or the mall until it gets warm) and most of the time I don't mind doing it by myself but sometimes I really wish I just had someone to hang out with and go workout with or someone to get together with and let our kids play. I don't have anyone like that here in Pocatello. Wes is my buddy to do stuff with but he works all day. sigh. Oh well.
Is a friend too much to ask for?
I better get back to the laundry or I'm going to lose my motivation to do it and then it will sit for days in my laundry baskets...

I bet there's someone close by that feels the same way you do. Time for you to find them!
In the meantime, pretend I am there waiting for you at the gym. "Yes Drill Seargant Nash! Twenty more push-ups!"
And go on a walk pretending to head towards my gorgeous, clean, laundry-already-folded house so our kids can play together! (HA! That one for sure is a fantasy. Folding laundry feels like a root canal.!)
But, back to you.....keep your chin up. Like I said, I'm sure there is someone in your ward or neighborhood that feels the same way you are feeling and need you. Time to find them! Good luck.
I hear ya. I feel the same way. All my friends are in Utah county and moving to Salt Lake made me friendless. I hope you guys move back. I'll go work out with ya!
And to think, we were almost in Pocatello! That would have been great! Now I am in Richfield with the same problem as you.....Its hard! I get Rand back from basketball season next week, though. Thank goodness for husbands who double as best friends! Miss yoU!
