Here is what I did this weekend with my Silhouette.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Nauvoo and especially the Nauvoo temple. I found this image in the Silhouette online store so I made this and hung it up in my living room.

I stole this idea from my friend Lashel. I cut out the letters and the leaves inside the vases with the Silhouette and then I just put some rafia that I had in the vases with a little orange flower. Pretty simple....oh and the vases were .50 cents at the DI

And here is what I did in the boys bathroom. Those bubbles are really blue even though they look so dark in this picture. Then I put some bubbles around the edge of the mirror as well (but I didn't get a picture of that). As I was putting this on the wall the boys were taking a bath and splashing all over! So I thought it was very fitting.

And there you go. I am loving this new world of crafting that I have discovered :) I am finally decorating my house a little. As soon as we get our family pictures taken I can do my big empty wall in my family room. And I still have some wood pumpkins to paint and some wood Christmas trees that my dad cut out for me!
Also I want to make something like this for my stockings to hang on. (It's a small picture, I know) I already have the wood and some white vinyl for the lettering, I just need some red paint...and some free time...and I can do this. (I think it says, "And the stockings were hung") I still have a little time until Christmas so I think I'll work on the pumpkins first :)
