Crafting/decorating update

Okay so a while ago I posted on here that I wanted to start decorating my house. Well, I have done a few things and I finally took pictures and have a minute to post them on here. I am quite happy with the few things I've done because I usually don't do anything, so this is a big step for me :)
First, I bought some vinyl sayings at the "What Women Want Expo" Back in May. Here is the laundry one that I put by my washer and dryer. It's back around a corner so it's not something anyone will really see unless they come all the way in my house and back by my laundry but hey, it makes laundry just a little better...anything to help right?!
I made some curtains for my kitchen window, right above my sink.
Here is another vinyl that I bought only this time I put it on a board. I had a board that I got for my wedding that we just weren't using so I peeled the vinyl off of that and painted it and here you go...a lovely vinyl sign for my kitchen. I put it above my kitchen cupboards. It looks a lot better than all the storage I had up there.

I've been working a lot on the boys room. They are both in beds now and they both have Thomas bedding so I went with a blue theme. I made some curtains for their room...It's hard to see but those are numbers on the fabric. It has a very thick, navy blue fabric on the back so it keeps the light out. I was hoping it would get them to sleep in a little...and I guess it has. They went from getting up around 6:45 to now getting up at 7:00.
Also, above the window is another vinyl I bought that says "Brothers that play together stay together"
I bought these frames at Michael's awhile ago for .75 cents. I painted them and added the little wooden cutouts of trains, airplanes, moons and stars. (Which is why I can't get them to hang straight because those weigh them down...I guess...I'm still working on that) And yes, if you look really close, one of the moons got glued on upside down...oops :) I'll fix that eventually.
They are filled with pictures of the boys doing things together like when we went and saw Thomas the train, our day trip to the beach, eating Popsicles together and riding on an airplane.
That's it so far. It's been fun. This is more crafts than I've ever done so I'm pretty happy. It's fun learning new things and also decorating my home just a little :)

*Oh and I've made a few skirts for myself. I don't have pics of those but I've just done a bunch of knit skirts that are casual and comfy for the hot summer months here.

**I got a little behind on my sewing projects so I flew to SL for a few days the other week and my mom helped me catch up...Thanks mom! I couldn't have done it without you and your fabulous sewing room! :)

Way to go! You did such cute things!! Love it! (If the frames not being completely straight really bother you, you can do 2 nails for each frame at the corners. That way they can't tilt. It might take a little time.. but then the weight doesn't matter.) Super cute!
