The Rivalry Relay!

Wes and I ran in the rivalry relay on Saturday. It was a relay race that went from the University of Utah to BYU.... about 65 miles between 6 team members. Our team was me and Wes, my brother Stuart, Wes's sister Jamie, his other sister Aubrie and her husband Andrew. It was fun to do a race with Wes. I've done a few races now (yes, I'm crazy!) but this is the first time Wes has done it with me. I was so impressed with him. I have to admit I had doubts when he first said he would do it because he is pretty busy. I didn't know when he would find the time to train but he actually did a lot better than me in the training department. He was awesome! I on the other hand, struggled. I'm not sure why I do these, I'm not good at running and it's always SO HARD!!! But it does feel good to accomplish something so hard. We had a lot of fun together even though it was so hot!
